    Welcome to membership of MGA(GB) - the Mounted Games Association of Great Britain. We hope that you have a happy and successful time with us! The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. 


    Please ensure you join in good time before your 1st event.


    Details of membership fees can be found on the following forms and all members are duty bound to adhere to MGA GB policies and procedures.


    MGAGB take out a Public Liability Insurance Policy, once you have joined MGAGB you are then covered by this insurance policy (more details below)

Welcome to the new membership portal

1. Select a Membership Package

Choose the appropriate membership package. Memberships can be set up by either a parent or a rider.

2. Complete Member Details

Enter all required information for everyone included in the membership.

Riders can have their own portal login, as well as the person who created the membership. They may use the main membership email address or register with their own.

3. Add Roles

Make sure all roles are recorded within the portal. This applies to both riders and crew members.

4. Payment

Once completed you will be directed to the payment page.

5. Complete Membership

We will email you a link to create your password. This will be sent to the email address you provided and will remain valid for 48 hours. If you do not receive it within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder.

Once you have created your password, you will need to sign in to the member portal to complete your registration. You will then need to add:

  • your horses or ponies, including vaccination records and veterinary details
  • your emergency contact information
  • any additional riders or crew members covered by your membership package
  • DBS and safeguarding certificates, where required.

These details will be reviewed and verified where applicable. Once your registration is complete, you will be able to access the relevant areas of the member portal and manage your membership information.

Your membership is not complete until those details are in the portal, so please sign in as soon as you receive the email.

Going forward you will be able to renew your membership from the portal.

County Reps/Team Managers

After selecting your role, you will need to upload your Safeguarding and DBS certificates. Once these have been checked and approved, you will gain access to view county members and any family members linked to your membership.


Declarations are completed through the portal, so it is important that all team members register and join first. Members who have not joined will not be available to add to a declaration form.


County Representatives and Team Managers should ensure all members have registered before attempting to complete a declaration.

TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP

We allow temporary membership BUT only for one event per year (that includes training sessions, individual, pairs or team competitions)
