WORLD INDIVIDUALS 2019 INFORMATION

Competition Format

UNDER 12    For riders who are under the age of 12 as at 1.1.2019
UNDER 14    For riders who are under the age of 14 as at 1.1.2019
UNDER 17    For riders who are under the age of 17 as at 1.1.2019
OPEN:           For riders who are any age

The Competition will run from 14th to 18th August 2019 (Wednesday to Sunday)

Arrival from Tuesday 13th August.

  • The competition will be run in 2 all weather arenas – 100 x 80
  • 1 grass arena (if entries dictate)
  • 40 stables
  • Electric hook up for 70
  • Marquee
  • Toilets and showers

The competition will take place over 5 days:

Wednesday – Under 12 & Under 14 start

Thursday – Under 17 & Open start

Friday – U17 & Open Session 2, U12 & U14
Semis, lower finals & A Finals

Saturday – U17 & Open Session 3, U17 & Open Semi Finals & some lower finals

Sunday – U17 & OPEN A FINALS & lower finals

Each Rider will ride x 3 sessions of x 7 games. Semi Finals of 8 games.

A Finals of x 10 games. Lower Finals of x 8 games.

Medical & Vet Services

Full paramedic cover to be provided for all rings

Full vet and farrier cover to be provided during the competition

Dedicated horse ambulance with back-up trailer to cover the whole competition.

Entertainment

Large Marquee for entertainment

Official Welcome Evening

Gala Party with buffet and musical entertainment in the marquee on Friday evening. All competitors will receive a ticket. Additional tickets will be available for purchase – details after the closing date.

Livestream for all finals.

Electric Hook up

There are a limited number of hook ups – 70 altogether.

Stables

There are 40 stables available and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.   

Shavings, Hay/Haylage

These will be available for sale at Washbrook Farm.

By entering this competition competitions must confirm that they understand and agree with the following:

  1. As a condition of entry, all riders and trainers must agree to undergo breathalyser testing if requested and that any person who fails a full breath test at the level for their age will be banned from entering the arena on the day of testing. 
  2. As a condition of entry all riders must agree to a tack check and to being weighed and their ponies measured if requested
