Dear members
Please find attached a list of revised dates for this season.
Wales were struggling to get a date for their championships, which is to be part of the league for 2019, so GB have reviewed their dates to support them, as they have been able to book the David Broome Event Centre for their show – brilliant news, and a great opportunity to see their new facilities.
The committee have had confirmation from both showgrounds that both Inter Counties and End of Season will be ground maintained, water, seeded etc as required to give the optimum grass surface.
Inter counties now has its own Facebook page – as we are being heavily supported by a vast range of companies that are sponsoring age groups and will be present at the show as a “Shopping Village”. The venue will also be jointly hosting the “The New Forest Breed show” – a huge calendar event for the locals, with ponies and cattle etc – showing and entertainment – a real added to bonus for all – but keep an eye on the Intercounties page for more details as we add in events, entertainment and sponsors.
The World Pairs will run at Newark on the Horse Ring and Newark Ring only, not the runway – so ground conditions will be the usual great going at Newark, with the added bonus of the facilities that Newark are able to provide.
The new event for 2019 will be the Champions Show – which will be a qualifying show from the national league – it will be held at Aston le walls – which will give us the opportunity to show case the top teams from all age groups – at a champions event.
The Clark family have kindly offered their lovely venue for the End of Season Show.
Then to top it all off – the “Awards Ball” – which will be held at the Sandbanks hotel on 23rd November 2019, where all of the national awards will be given. This will be the ball of all balls! – we have already booked our entertainment, in our usual style! – watch this space – and we have a very special personality to make the awards!
Thank you all and here’s to a great 2019.
