Dear Members,

The General Committee held their traditional End of Season Meeting on Sunday 22 October. Discussions were held about the 2017 Season and shaping the way forward for the Association in 2018 and future seasons. As a result of those discussions, the Committee wish to make the following announcements:

  1. Membership fees for 2018 will remain unchanged. This decision has been taken to support members. With current inflation running at 3% we understand that we are all subject to financial pressures.

  1. We want full support from all members in 2018. Following Riders meetings held in 2017, the Committee have taken on board some of the comments and ideas that were expressed and have used many of these as a basis for the restructuring of the involvement of Head Office and the delivery of Internal Shows. Mary Worth has, for the past 2 years, expressed a wish to reduce her workload and she will no longer be responsible for the on- site running of the Head Office shows. She will continue to be responsible for all administration and financial affairs and for the external show displays.

As a result of this we have a vacancy for an Internal Show Manager.

Applications are invited from all members over the age of 18 years to manage the Main internal shows for the 2018 season.

The Shows involved are: Spring Championships, UK Masters, Future Stars, John Scott Championships, Inter Counties, British Pairs and End of Season Show.

The British Individuals is not planned for 2018.  The 2018 dates list can be viewed on the website and will be updated regularly – the link is!AhfP23SonSCHgk5TWu-QgeDTgsPo
