Dear members x

Rather than the General Committee making the decision (and getting it wrong!!) we are asking you to vote in a poll to make the decision for the venue for Inter Counties 2019.

There are 3 possible options:

1) Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells, Wales.

The show would have to be all stabling. This limits us to 80 teams. Royal Welsh also say they would cancel if the ground was too wet before the show and will inspect the ground after the show. We may be landed with ground repair costs. The cost before ground repairs would be £105 per rider.

2) New Forest Showground, New Park.

This would be all corralling. The cost would be £70 per rider.

3) Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.

Since the new HS2 railway is being built right across the middle of the showground, any area for corralling would have to be surrounded by herris fencing and would be smaller than we have had in the past – therefore limiting entries.

We have no costs for the fencing until we know how many teams we can accommodate and so the cost works out at £110 per rider plus fencing.

The poll is on MGA news –
