UPDATE ON STABLES
Val has been contacted by what she hopes are all the people who have HGV or larger lorries and has allocated stables to them. There are still some stables left which will be allocated to people with 7.5 lorries on a first come first served basis.
For those with stables – at the end of the weekend the stables must be mucked out and throw the beds up. Straw can be purchased at Washbrook Farm at £3.50 a bale.
Val 07980 710552.
The British Individuals will be going ahead as planned this weekend.
However, the parking and corralling areas are very wet indeed.
Washbrook Farm have 30 stables available which they have kindly allocated for our use free of charge. Stables will be allocated on arrival – please do not contact anyone to try to reserve a stable in advance. Bedding is available for purchase at Washbrook Farm – straw only. If you need shavings please bring your own.
All large or HGV lorries must park on the hardstanding horse box park by the main arena. If you are coming in a large lorry please let us know by texting Val 07980 710552.
You must park as directed by the parking marshalls. If you are arriving late please let Val know.
Both rings are on the all-weather arenas.
Please ensure you bring your horse passports with you as there may be checks by the venue this weekend.
We only have open spaces remaining. If anyone withdraws in the other age groups we will contact the rider who is top of the waiting list. Programmes have been printed so we will not be adding any extra heats.
Please check to see if you may be moved due to withdrawals.
ASSISTANT REFEREES: ASSISTANT REFEREES

Lists of who is excused will be posted on the commentary box windows.
The officials rota is below. If there are any problems please see the box manager or find someone to swap with you. If you can help or do more please see the box manager.

We have some good news:
Last November I applied to the Saddlers Company, on our behalf and through BEF, for prizes which we could use to reward our Champions at the British Individuals. (The amount that each discipline could apply for is limited and not enough for a team event which is why I went for the Individuals!)
I have today received an email from the Saddlers Company to say that we have been successful in this bid and that they are awarding us 4 snaffle bridles for use for our competition!
They would also like to send someone (possibly the Prime Warden and his wife) to present these at the event.
We will also doing the “Buckets” for the semi finalists and finalists, which proved to be so popular last year.
