- Formal Notice of Annual General Meeting
The 2018 Annual General Meeting of MGA (GB) Ltd. will take place on at 11.00 a.m. at Farmers Fayre, Stoneleigh Park on Sunday 3rd March 2019
The AGM is the annual business meeting of the company MGA(GB) Ltd and has a standard, formal agenda which is common to all businesses that are limited companies.
The AGM is followed by an Open Meeting of MGAGB at which any member can make proposals to be considered by the General Committee or to ask questions of the General Committee.
At the AGM this year we will need to elect Officers to fill positions on the General Committee. We will have vacancies for the following positions:
Chairman, Vice Chairman, Company Secretary and Treasurer.
Nominations for the posts of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer and Company Secretary must be received in writing at the office of MGA(GB) or such other address as specified in the notice calling the meeting or by electronic means at the electronic address specified in the notice calling the meeting 21 days before the meeting at which the election is to be held. All nominations must include the name and address of the proposer and seconder of the candidate together with the consent of the candidate to the nomination. The proposer, seconder and candidate must be members of MGA(GB). In the event that there are no correct nominations for a position as an officer of MGA(GB) nominations for that position will be called for from the floor of the meeting.
If you wish to be nominated for any of these positions you must download the nomination form from the website and submit it to the Buxton Office by Sunday February 10th 2019 by post or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you cannot attend the meeting in person you may apply for a proxy vote by downloading the form from the website and submitting it by post to the Buxton Office or email to email@example.com to arrive no later than 11am on Thursday 28 February 2019.
